As websites are the single most important marketing medium for any organisation's stakeholders, if you value your brand image, then some independent User Experience Testing is a vital part of your online investment. We perform this in 1 of 2 ways. Either we give you an expert evaluation on where the pitfalls of the website experience lie, or we recruit customers for an eye tracking usability review of your website to see where they enjoy the site navigation and application process, and where they find themselves getting lost.

Expert User Evaluation

The main advantages of this expert evaluation is the speed of feedback given and reduced cost when compared to usability research and eye-tracking tests. It provides insights into the strengthes and weaknesses of instructional language used as well as highlighting navigational holes that break the flow of a user's journey. Our experienced site reviewers systematically review all sections of you site / software and will compile a clear issues log as well as suggesting solutions.  If we find any technical issues while performing the Expert User Evaluation these will also be included. (Generally we offer to review using whichever compatible web browser, has been least tested by the web development team.)

 User Experience Eye Tracking Research

This form of research provides real human testimony across, typically, a minimum of six typically profiled customers or prospective users. To recreate a natural web usage scenario, each recruit is left alone to perform a number of set tasks within the site. They are filmed, privately observed and their mouse-movement and clicks are recorded. Guidance is offered at key stages and eye movement is recorded to evidence core areas of interest, moments when users are unable to advance or unable to locate the next 'visual-cue'. User Experience Eye Tracking Research provides invaluable insights into how your customers are interacting with and reacting to your product and brand proposition online. Although this research focuses on User Experience issues (UX), natural marketing feedback from recruits has been known to make clients revise their core product sales proposition.
